Samsung Confirms Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update For Galaxy S5, Available This Month

    Samsung confirms its plans to roll out micro-updates for Galaxy S5 to fix some issues that got after Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

    Samsung Galaxy S5 To Get Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update

    Samsung along with few carriers have confirmed the update release, but did not say when these updates will be available for download. However, the Australian network operator Optus has confirmed that the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update sometime in June.

    Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S5 is only a minor update to fix some issues that were reported by users after updating their devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

    Samsung Galaxy S5 users needs to check for Android 5.0.2 update in the device settings on a regular basis. The latest Lollipop firmware will be available via OTA (over-the-air).

    The Android Lollipop will come lots of enhancements including Material Design, improved notification, battery saver feature, enhanced security, device sharing, new quick settings, improved connectivity, Android TV and OK Google.
