Samsungs Gear Glass To Be Unveiled in September This Year
The beta version of the Google Glass has already started selling in the US and now other manufacturers are in quite a rush to become the initial supplier of such devices to the market. Apart from Google, Sony, Epson, Apple, Microsoft, and LG Electronics have already filed for smart glass-related patent applications and thus in the coming few months, news related to the smart-glass devices will surely start hitting the headlines.
However, today one of the top-tier tech giant Samsung which had also filed a patent application for similar device recently, is reportedly said to release its first smart-glass device in September, this year. Obviously, the company's upcoming device is targeted to rival against Google's heavily popular Glass.

Samsung's proprietary Tizen OS's latest version will power the Gear Glass, featuring an ear piece and display, enabling people to listen to music with the right ear while looking at the display with the same eye.
Samsung had previously obtained a design patent for a wearable glass device last October, and more recently the company has also gotten its hands on a patent from the American Patent Law Association.
However, there are only slim details available about the device as of now and Samsung has not spoken officially about the functionalities and features that will be available in the device.
