The South Korean smartphone giant is planning to release Samsung Z3 running on its very own Tizen operating system. According to a report, the Samsung Z3 will be the successor of Samsung Z1 and the company is planning to skip the Z2.

Samsung is expected to launch the smartphone in the second half of this year. As per rumors, the Z3 will be more powerful than its predecessor and will ship with a quad-core processor and will also have a higher price tag.

The Samsung Z3 will sport a 5 inch display and is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC at 1.2GHz clock speed, paired with 1GB RAM and runs on Tizen OS.

The Z3 comes with 8GB of internal storage and supports up to 64GB using microSD card. It sports a 5 megapixel rear camera with flash and comes with 2 megapixel front-facing camera. For connectivity it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and packs a 2000mAh battery.
