Samsung to Unveil Transparent Displays to Market Next Month [Video]

The transparent display dubbed as NL22B has a 22 inch see-through stackable screen with thin bezel at the front of a cuboid case with in-built PC and speakers.

The company describes this as an all-in-one showcase product that will launch a new era of possibilities in digital retail design.

As stated by the official global Samsung blog, Samsung Tomorrow, “thin LCD panel on the front of the transparent display allows images and animations to dynamically interact with the merchandise inside the showcase while still enabling passers-by to view the product.”

Moreover, Samsung claims that NL22B transparent display will have 15% transmittance as compared to 5% transmittance offered by the other displays in the market.
