Looking to tap the fast growing e-commerce business in India, a few Rotarians have joined hands to launch a new online shopping site -- babumoshay.com for daily needs, including vegetables and fruits, apart from fashion products.
Keeping in mind the increasing number of nuclear families, the portal will have a special category for vegetables, fruits in natural and cut shapes and grocery products, Director, Business Development of Babumoshay, Divyansh Talwar said.
"All such fruits and vegetables will be specifically treated in a hygienic environment to get rid of all acidic effect of these items and ensure that our customers get best what they deserve at a price of local vendor," he said.
The venture, a joint effort a few Rotarians belonging to various Rotary clubs of Delhi NCR, is targeting to address the needs of people from the age of 5 to 80 years. Allaying fears that e-commerce is a threat to traditional retail, Chairman of Babumoshay, Ravi Sachdeva said: "We are going to prove this wrong.
