Sony Announcements at IFA 2012: Xperia T, V, J Smartphones; Xperia S Tablet; Windows 8-based Vaio Duo 11 and Tap20

Further, VAIO series has got two new additions from Sony. The products released include Sony VAIO Duo 11 and Sony VAIO Tap20. Both these models claim unique features and specifications. Sony expects considerable boost in sales of these new products once it is officially released for retail purchase. There is no information regarding the pricing of these two new products. Company sources expect to bring these products to users by October this year.

Sony VAIO Duo 11:

Sony VAIO Duo 11 is positioned as a hybrid Ultrabook slider model which combines PC performance and the convenience of a tablet. This hybrid characteristic makes it a suitable companion for users during travelling. It features a larger screen display size of 11.6 inches which is powered by full-HD touch screen technology. Other key features present in this hybrid product include a digitizer stylus pen. The device is easily portable at 1.3 kg.

Users can choose from either Windows 8 operating system or Windows 8 Pro version. The processing and graphical performances are enhanced with the presence of Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors and Intel HD Graphics 4000. It has a screen with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. High speed data transfer is possible with the help of Bluetooth and USB 3.0 connectivity. Better wireless connectivity is ensured with WLAN 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity.
