Currently, the manufacturers who make use of the Windows mobile platform are Nokia, Samsung, LG and HTC but they are yet to make a mark in the market of mobile phones. Sony Mobile was reported to have talked with Microsoft to make itself has a hardware partner of Windows Phone in the early 2010. After which Sony Ericsson started to use the Android operating system for its Xperia smartphones. Since then, the company has not touched to work with Microsoft.
