Sony Xperia LT25i Tsubasa Coming Soon: Will You Wait for it or Buy Galaxy S3?
Sony has been in the rounds regarding the upcoming lineup of Android devices. Recently, the company unveiled the Xperia Ion and it is rumored to launch the Xperia Tablet soon.
In the meantime, another handset from the Japanese manufacturer, Xperia LT25i Tsubasa has been spotted in the wild lately, in a couple of benchmark tests. Hence, the possibilities have appeared that the company might be unveiling these new devices at the pre-IFA events, which will happen at the end of this month.
As per the report by Xperia Blog, “The Sony LT25 will carry the ‘Tsubasa’ codename and will come in both LTE and HSPA+ versions from what we can tell. Given its model number, we imagine it will sit just below the Xperia S (LT26i) in terms of specs.”
The Sony Tsubasa handset has popped up in NenaMark2 and AnTuTu benchmarks. NenaMark2 shows the handset to have a 710 x 1280 pixel resolution while the other shows it to have 720 x 1196 pixel resolution. NenaMark2 highlights the Tsubasa handset to have an Andreno 225 GPU that means it will run the 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm S4 Snapdragon MSM8960 chipset. This bit of information has been confirmed by AnTuTu, which displays the processor clock speed as 1.5 GHz.
The benchmarks suggest that the Xperia LT25i Tsubasa is an Android 4.0.4 ICS based smartphone that will likely have LTE and HSPA+ connectivity options.
As Tsubasa is below the Xperia S, analyst predict the handset to be priced at Rs 30,000 approximately in India. However, there is no possible word on when the handset will be launched.
At the same time,Samsung's biggest bet of the year, the Galaxy S3 has also been introduced to the global smartphone market. In India, the heavyweight is available at a price of Rs. 37990.
As far as features of the Android heavyweight are concerned, Galaxy S3 features 1.4GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor, 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The device comes packed with HSPA+ capabilities, offering 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD.
Further, S3 features an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera and a 2,100mAh removable battery. The smartphone comes flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and TouchWiz UI overlay.
The new phone hosts a plethora of software features such as S Voice and S Beam, with the former allowing users to execute commands via their voice and with the latter allowing quick file sharing just by touching the devices.
S3 has already impressed tech experts and the phone has come up with numerous groundbreaking specifications to shake up the smartphone market. And of course a better processor power,
However, Sony Xperia LT25i Tsubasa also seems to be a bold, beautiful and power-packed smartphone. Hence, let us know in comments, Will you wait for the launch of next Xperia phone by Sony or go ahead and buy galaxy S3 for your next phone upgrade?
