The launch of the Tesla Cybertruck showed off the truck's angular toughness, where it took shots from a hammer and didn't even take a dent. Tesla has launched the Cybertruck in three variants with one, two, and three motors. The EV giant revealed that the single motor setup will put the motor on the rear axle, whereas the dual-motor setup put one motor on each axle.

Tesla Cybertruck Details Not Revealed

The launch of the Tesla Cybertruck was a short ~25-minute presentation by the CEO. However, he did not reveal certain details about the new electric pickup. For one, we do not know when the Cybertruck will head into production and hit the road. "We need something different. We need sustainable energy now," he said to push forth the environmental-friendly agenda.

At the same time, the Tesla Cybertruck failed the Tesla Armor Glass test, which crashed when a volunteer was asked to throw an object. Yet, the truck passed the sledgehammer and bullet tests. The truck, which looks straight out of a sci-fi, packs 120V and 240V power outlets and an onboard air compressor. A report shows that pickup trucks make up about 15 percent of the US vehicles and Tesla hopes to wedge in that market.
