This Google App might ask you to start writing the news.
Google to soon roll out platforms for amateur journalists. Google is planning introduce an app where users can write the news.
Google the tech giant which is known for its innovations and unique ideas have now come up with a new concept where it will ask random people to write the news for it. As per some reports Google has introduced the pilot for a news app quietly.

Google has said that it will "put a spotlight on inspiring the stories that aren't being told." The limited pilot app is out this week in Nashville and Oakland. It doesn't require any expertise on content management as Bulletin is essentially a public, shared blog space. It also doesn't require any management of HTM or even an app download. Google is hoping that this will help the users to tell "hyperlocal" stories.
As per the reports on Gizmodo, Google product manager James Morehead told the audience that Bulletin "is about enriching the public web for local content."

The reports further suggest that Slate has probably the most sharp-eyed description: "a super-lightweight content management which is aimed at amateur journalists. Moreover this isn't a new concept earlier Wix, Medium, Blogspot and Xanga had made similar promoiser, however what the Bulletin is aiming for its limited pilot is a social network without all the ethics.
While commenting on the product Google said that"This is very much in the testing phase and aimed at hyperlocal stories and events for people to share, and for local media to take advantage of," spokeswoman Maggie Shiels commented "People everywhere want to know what is going on in their own backyard at a very local level, ranging from local bookstore readings to high school sporting events to information about local street closures."

The new release sounds like a lightweight content management system which aims at amateur journalists or anyone who wants to live-blog news event or report a news story in such a way that it reaches a broad audience.
Google will work with local news organizations to help them in searching and publishing stories and give credits to the rightful author.
