Asus PadFone
Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2012, the Asus PadFone was released in India in mid-September whopping price of Rs 64,999.
The PadFone sports a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive multi-touch display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the PadFone houses a 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 1.3MP front camera and a micro SD card slot for expandable memory support up to 32GB.
Further, the handset is loaded with a 1,520 mAh Li-ion battery delivering 63 hours of battery life with the PadFone station and 102 hours with the keyboard dock.
The PadFone comes in three configurations – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB respectively.
The unique and feature of the PadFone is that it has a tablet dock dubbed as PadFone Station, which has a 2MP rear camera and 6,600 mAh Li-ion battery to charge the device while it is docked.
