Micromax will soon have another Bollywood string attached to it. If not directly, then through the company's co-founder Rahul Sharma.

Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax, a leading Indian smartphone company, is tying the knot with actress Asin who has been a renowned face in both Bollywood as well as South Indian film industry, Times Of India claims.

Sharma founded Micromax Mobile in the year 2000, and is currently at the helm of Micromax Informatics. Also, Sharma heads the company's new YU sub-brand in India.

Reportedly, Sharma first met Asin through superstar and close friend Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna, who were associated with Micromax as its brand ambassadors. Asin has worked opposite Kumar in Khiladi 786 (2012), and Housefull movies.

The duo has been planning to get married for a while now, but decided Asin to be done shooting for her movie ‘All is Well' before tying the knot. The marriage is believed to happen after Asin's movie releases. The report has quoted Asin confirming this news to the publication by saying, "I am currently wrapping up all my professional commitments so that I can give more time to my personal life. I had anyways stopped signing new projects two years back itself." The lady has also reportedly confirmed that she is not taking up new assignments.

The couple is yet to announce a wedding date, though the report says that Asin has confirmed that marriage in on the cards soon.
