Microsoft has brought a direct sharing technique and shortcut to Windows 8 and the Metro UI. Hitting Windows + H on a picture or other such file and a menu slides in from the right offering to share that item on whatever compatible service apps that have been installed.
Closing applications & programs
Opening applications in the non-Metro interface will not display the 'x' button on the top tight corner to close it and remain open in the background. Though they are claimed to pose no effect on the performance of the device, they ought to be closed at some point of time. This can be done by dragging down from top to bottom using a finger or mouse cursor.
Pulling out Task Bar
Opening the task bar showing all the applications and program that are running currently is a tough task. Swipe gestures for this is very difficult and requires a lot of trick. But, there is an easier approach to do this using the keyboard – simply hit Windows + Tab and get the task bar.
