Xiaomi is set to open its fifth Mi Home Store in India
Xiaomi inaugurated its first Mi Home Store in Bangalore followed by Delhi, Guru, and Chennai.
Xiaomi inaugurated its first Mi Home Store in Bangalore followed by Delhi, Gurugram, and Chennai. While the company during the first opening had announced that it is going to launch 100 more stores in the country, it looks like the popular Chinese brand is delivering on its promise step by step.
Besides, as the company has already established its brand name and has sold millions of handsets, mainly through online channels, the launch of Xiaomi Mi Home Store will further facilitate the company's operations extensively. At the same time, consumers will also benefit as they will now have a physical store in place if they want to experience any new products or get services for their handsets.
Consumers can also purchase the latest products through these stores. What's exciting is that these stores will also showcase product ranges that are not launched in India as well.
And now, the company has chosen Hyderabad as the ideal destination to open a new Mi Home Store. The Mi Home store in Hyderabad will be located at Gear up Elite, Madhapur Main Road, Madhapur Hyderabad. This will be the fifth Mi Home Store in India from the company.
So people in that city will now be able to visit the retail store and check out entire catalog of Xiaomi's products. The company has said Mi Home retail store in Hyderabad will be operational from September 12.
Looking at how things are progressing, Xiaomi has plans to expand its presence in India. Moreover, with new Mi Home Stores, Xiaomi might be targeting the retail market as well. The company will probably continue to expand its offline presence with retailers and distributors in the country through its Direct to Retail (DTR) model.
As of now, the company has already partnered with big retail chains including Vijay Sales, Sangeetha, Big C, eZone, and Hotspot to bring Xiaomi's smartphones to more than 600 retail stores in 11 cities in India. As per the company, it has plans to increase its reach to 1,500 retail stores in 30 cities by end of the year.
