Xiaomi MIUI 7 Unveiled Today Based on Android Lollipop and Variety of Features

    Today, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has announced the new MIUI 7 ROM at an event in Beijing. This UI comes based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with varieties of themes, new Mi roaming, faster response speed and better battery life.

    According to Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun, MIUI has 750 research and development team and more than 150 million users worldwide in 156 countries.

    MIUI 7 - Key Features

    This MIUI 7 comes with four official personalized system UI for women, girls, boys and luxury version. Moreover, this has faster system response time and animation by about 30% compared to MIUI 6.

    Further, this UI comes with new large fonts such as standard, medium, large, extra large, jumbo with dialog layout, text spacing and line spacing.

    Also, this has face recognition technology, which identifies and organizes the photo collections. Meanwhile, the Kid mode hides all your personal information and desktop layouts.

    Another interesting information is that My business card which allows users to add your image that will show up on friend's screen when you call or even a five-second video.

    Today, the company has introduced Mi Roaming, which is a new virtual SIM service that works in 36 regions countries and regions, including China, Hong Kong, China Taiwan, the United States, Japan, UK and Australia.

    It also automatically enter international roaming mode. The Chinese MIUI 7 Developer ROM will be available for Redmi 2, 2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi Note series and the Redmi Note series tomorrow.
