Xiaomi Redmi 2 is All Set for Tomorrow's Launch

    Chinese handset Xiaomi is all set to launch the successor of Redmi 1 smartphone in India tomorrow. Few minutes ago, the teaser has been released in the social media page, saying, "Taking it to the next level", which was confirmed by India head Manu Kumar Jain. Earlier this week, the company started a contest on its official facebook page, asking to solve a riddle to find out the phone, which is going to be released in the country.

    Xiaomi Redmi 2, features a 4.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916 ) 64-bit processor and Adreno 305 GPU along with 1GB RAM. On the storage capacity, this device has 8GB of internal storage, with an expansion of up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

    Coming to the imaging factor, this mobile has 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, Omnivision sensor, 1080p video recording, 2MP front-facing camera, 720P HD video recording. Moving on to the software, it is expected to be shipped with MIUI v6 on top of Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

    Moreover, on the connectivity option, it has 4G LTE/3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, dual SIM and powered by a 2200mAh battery.
