Xiaomi To Launch Smart Speaker, Router Alongside Redmi K30 On December 10: Report

Apart from launching the Redmi K30, Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is reportedly planning to launch a smart speaker on December 10th in China. It is also expected that the company will bring its router, reports Gizmochina. According to the report, the company's vice president and general manager Lu Weibing have revealed this information about these upcoming products.

He also reveals that Xiaomi has adopted the "1+4+X" model, which has four categories such as Notebooks, Smart TV, Smart Speakers, and Routers."The company has also launched Redmi-branded smart TV and laptops in the market and thus, the products next in the line include routers and smart speakers," Weibing was quoted by Gizmochina.

However, he refuses to give the exact details about the upcoming launch. But, confirmed that the company will launch these products along with the Redmi K30 on December 10th.

Redmi K30 Leaked Specifications: Details

The Redmi K30 is likely to feature a 6.6-inch LCD display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come up with a dual punch-hole design. Under the hood, the Redmi K30 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset. Also, it will have a 5,000 mAh battery along with 27W fast support. The Redmi K30 is also said to run Android 10 OS.

Furthermore, the Redmi K30 will include a quad-camera set-up. The smartphone will have a 64MP primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 8MP telephoto lens, and 2MP sensor. While upfront, you'll get the dual selfie camera setup, and it is likely to feature a 20MP camera and 2MP depth sensors for selfies.

On the connectivity front, it will likely have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, IR blaster, and NFC support. In addition, it is expected that the smartphone is likely to price at Rs. 20,000 for the basic model. Besides, the leaks suggested that the upcoming smartphone is a version of Redmi K20.
