Indian Smartphone Users Rank OPPO India No. 1 in After-Sales Service

The Counterpoints survey included over 2000 customers across 13 of India's Tier I and Tier II cities. Following the survey, OPPO India emerged as the front runner with 'very satisfied' customers in key areas of repair quality, costs, speed of resolution, transparency, staff expertise, and multilingual communication. Counterpoint based its rankings on several key factors contributing to an excellent after-sales smartphone experience.
The survey findings indicated that OPPO India exceeded expectations in after-sales service satisfaction, with 62% of customers reporting a highly positive experience, putting it ahead of vivo (58%) and Samsung (57%). By allowing 78% of its customers to witness their device repairs firsthand, OPPO India leads in making the process more transparent.
With high-resolution speed OPPO India gets you back on track fast, resolving issues for 35% of customers within just an hour-beating Samsung's 34% in quick resolutions. 57% of OPPO India's customers are happy with the repair quality at service centres, showing higher satisfaction than vivo's 52%. Additionally, 51% of OPPO India customers are satisfied with repair costs, surpassing Xiaomi and vivo, who both stand at 45%.
OPPO India leads the way with 48% of customers receiving multilingual support other than English or Hindi, offering better accessibility than other brands. OPPO India's service staff impresses 56% of customers with their knowledge, compared to Samsung and vivo's 49% each. By providing Transparent, Fast, and Accessible Support Across 500+ Cities OPPO India excels with 51% of customers highly satisfied with convenient service centres locations, outpacing vivo's 46%.
In 2022, OPPO India launched its next-generation 3.0 service centres, designed to deliver a transparent and personalized after-sales experience. At these centres, customers can not only get their devices repaired but also engage in live product demonstrations and face-to-face interactions with skilled technicians. This direct, human-to-human connection fosters trust, allowing users to see their repairs being performed in real time, ensuring complete transparency.

OPPO Self-Help Assistant, a first-of-its-kind initiative digital service in India aligns with the Government of India's "Right to Repair" framework and is designed to offer customers thorough support and expert guidance. Launched in India in March 2024 it covers all OPPO India smartphones -A, F, K, Reno, and Find Series- released within the last five years. The OPPO Self-Help Assistant aims to assist users in resolving their smartphone issues without the hassle of visiting a service centre.
