OPPO's F Series of smartphones have always been one that has been leading the charge in the mid-range smartphone segment in India.

The OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G has been designed from the ground up to be ready to take on the watery madness of the Indian monsoon. The OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G has earned IP66, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings and is the first phone to do so.

Those rating numbers may seem like Greek to you, so let's explain what they mean. What these ratings mean is that the F27 Pro+ 5G can deal with dust ingress as well as high-pressure and high-temperature water sprays and be immersed in fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

This means that if you're a butter-fingered person like me, then a drop caused by the phone slipping out of your hands due to the rain will not result in damage that makes you end up at the service centre.

OPPO has gone the extra mile to keep the internals safe in case of a drop by using the high-strength, high-thermal conductivity AM03 aluminium alloy for the front cover of the motherboard. The insides of the phone also feature sponges and other cushioning materials to keep the internals intact in case of a fall.

OPPO has put the F27 Pro+ through 150+ extremely tough tests that go beyond industry standards to ensure that it works as advertised in the real world. The F27 Pro+ 5G was also put through 20,000 plug/unplug tests as well as 42,000 micro-drop tests along with the other rigorous tests that helped it earn a Premium Performance 5 Stars Drop Resistance for Overall Certification from Swiss SGS.

It also possesses the MIL-STD-810H Method 516.8 certification, typically seen on hard drives and laptops made for military applications-which includes five tests: Functional Shock, Transportation Shock, Fragility, Transit Drop, and Crash Hazard Shock.

Further enhancing the viewing experience is the 300 per cent volume mode that raises the max volume to triple the max levels to give you a truly immersive viewing experience when watching your favourite videos.
