Google Pixel 8a Launched in India

With the recent Apple iPad event, the Google Pixel 8a went live in India under the radar. The Pixel 8a arrives with the Tensor G3 SoC, an OLED display, a sizeable battery, flagship-grade software support, and a dual-camera setup.

The Google Pixel 8a price in India starts from Rs 52,999 for 8GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB variant costs Rs 59,999. The Pixel 8a is available on Flipkart with a bank discount of Rs 4,000 on SBI credit cards.

The Google Pixel 8a is powered by the Tensor G3 SoC, the same chip powering the Pixel 8 Pro. It also features the Titan M2 security chip, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Pixel 8 Pro also sports a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak HDR brightness of 2,000 nits. Google calls it the Super Actua display.

For optics, the Pixel 8a features a 64 MP primary camera sensor with OIS and an f/1.89 aperture and a secondary 13 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture.

Up front, the Pixel 8a opts for a 13 MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera can record 4K video @30fps, while the rear cameras max out at 4K @60fps.

The Pixel 8a packs a 4492 mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging and Qi wireless charging support. Although it ships without an adapter in the box.
