Honor Unveils Most Affordable 5G Smartphone in India

Honor has officially unveiled a new smartphone in its 200 series in India. The Honor 200 Lite arrives as the most affordable phone in the segment and comes on the back of the Honor 200 5G and 200 Pro 5G.

The Honor 200 Lite price in India is set at Rs 17,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB model. The Honor 200 Lite is offered in Starry Blue, Cyan Lake, and Midnight Black colour options.

The Honor 200 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone comes in 8GB of LPPDR4x RAM and 256GB of storage.

Honor's latest affordable smartphone sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Moreover, the screen boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

For optics, the Honor 200 Lite features a triple-camera setup with 108MP primary sensor with OIS support. The main camera is paired with a 5MP ultrawide lens and 2MP macro unit. Up front, the phone opts for a 50MP selfie camera.

The Honor 200 Lite runs Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 35W wired fast charging support. Connectivity options on the Honor 200 Lite include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, and more.

The Honor 200 Lite will go on sale in India from September 26 at 12:00 am (IST). Customers will also get an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on the Honor 200 Lite using SBI debit and credit cards.
