The Nothing Phone 2a Plus has officially been unveiled in India with several improvements over the Phone 2a. The Nothing Phone 2a Plus gets a new chip, faster charging, and a high-res selfie camera.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus price in India starts from Rs 27,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/256GB variant costs Rs 29,999. The Phone 2a Plus will go on sale in India from August 7 at 12 noon IST.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. Nothing claims that users can expect 10% faster CPU performance and a massive 30% jump in GPU operations over the Phone 2a.

Nothing’s latest mid-range smartphone sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The panel also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with faster 50W wired charging support. Connectivity options on the Nothing Phone 2a Plus include Wi-Fi 6 Direct, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, QZSS, a USB Type-C port, and more.

For optics, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus features a dual-camera setup with a 50MP Samsung GN9 primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and 10x digital zoom and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens. Up front, there’s a new 50MP selfie camera.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus also boasts a Glyph Interface on the back, complete with three LED lights surrounding the rear camera island. The Phone 2a Plus is offered in new Black and Grey shades.
