Facebook is reportedly working on the voice-based virtual assistant to its Messenger app to rival Apple's Siri, Google Now and Cortana by Microsoft.

According to a report, the Facebook's voice assistant app is dubbed as MoneyPenny. As for now, there are not much information about the service.

However, the report states that, voice-based virtual assistant by the social media giant would be different from other. It would have 'real people' answering the queries instead of machine automated replies.

At the moment, the voice assistant service is rumored only for general research including shopping based uses, later the service will be expanded to development stages. As of now, there is no details about the release date of MoneyPenny.
