Apple Rumored To Launch iPad Mini 4 With A8 Processor

It looks like Apple plans to launch an even better iPad Mini in the coming weeks. Many Apple fans were a bit disappointed that the iPad Mini 3 did not feature the specifications they wished for, but the Cupertino-based tech giant seems to have its own plan ready with an announcement related to the iPad Mini 4.

The Apple iPad Mini 4 has been leaked for the first time ahead of Apple's ‘Spring Forward' event. According to a rumor out of Japan, the iPad mini 4 might be announced soon, and that it will sport Apple's latest A8 processor and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Notably, both superior hardware internals are found on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Apple Rumored To Launch iPad Mini 4 With A8 Processor

The iPad mini 3, unveiled at the event last year, came with the same processor as its predecessor. Timing on a potential mid-cycle refresh for the iPad mini could happen soon, as Apple's major event is happening later today in San Francisco.

Apple is selling the iPad Mini 3 for Rs. 28,990 in India. The device has been priced at par with the Google Nexus 9: a premium Android 5.0 Lollipop tablet.

Apart from that, Apple is rumored to announce a slew of devices including the much-awaited 12-inch Retina MacBook Air, and the iPad Pro: a 12.2-inch large screen sized tablet. So far, Apple has not confirmed its plans to release any of these above mentioned products. However, we do expect to see the Apple Watch at the event.
