Apple's tablet business goes hand in hand with its ever-booming smartphone business. The company has already made itself a potential big shot in the tablet department with the release of so many versions of iPad in the past. And the new one in the mix is about to arrive.
Apple is all set to release its upcoming iPad Pro for its users, although we are yet to come across the full details for the tablet offering. However, different reports have claimed different things for the handset.
In fact, via a recent Bloomberg report, it now seems certain that Apple will release an ‘iPad Pro' in early 2015. The purported large screen tablet will even arrive with a 12.9-inch display, reports Bloomberg.
Earlier reports have claimed that Apple could launch the so-called "iPad Pro" alongside the launch of updated iPads. And although there aren't many details to support the claim, it is said that the new large screen slate will target corporate and business executives.
But then again, what are the top rumors for the new iPad Pro? And what can you expect from the tablet offering in the long run. We take a look at the top 5 rumors for the same.
While rumors have anyway claimed that the tablet will have 12.9-inches on it, we don't see any real change in the overall design of the slate. However, an earlier Evercore Partners analyst suspects the size of the slate to be smaller 12 inches that aligns it closer to the 11.6-inch MacBook Air.
There's not much to say in this regard, since we are expecting the latest iOS to run on the slate. Probably iOS 8. So if the slate releases this October, then we are expecting that the tablet will indeed arrive with the latest iteration of iOS.
Apple is expected to go beyond the usual 128GB of storage space and is highly likely to go beyond. Sure a 256GB iPad will not less than a fortune, but when there are buyers, it doesn't make any difference.
The imaging aspect of the handset shouldn't be much of a botheration since the tablet is anyway not meant for clicking great photos. However, the front-facing snapper for the same is the biggest deal here and it is expected that the resolution for the same might just go up.
We are not sure about this one but all pointers have talked about a potential 2015 release for the tablet. And although earlier reports did speak of an either spring or fall 2014 release, we are expecting a possible 2015 release.
