Like every year, Google is all set to release its new Nexus tablet for 2014. Apart from it being an official Google device, the Nexus range of tablets arrive with a host of goodies and royal specs that make it a primary choice among buyers.
To be perfectly honest, the Nexus tablet range has been quite the mixed bag for Google. Before this, the original and 2013 Nexus 7 compact tablets went successful. But then again, the larger Nexus 10 was less popular and didn't really make that big an impact.
Not long ago, according to reliable industry tipster @eveleaks, the Nexus 8 could actually be called the Nexus 9. In fact, the manufacturer has been working on the device and two other Android tablets.
There have been rumors that the next Nexus is going by the codenames Volantis and Flounder. HTC is also said to be working on two other tablets - the T7 and T12.
But while the rumors keep rolling on, the device has already seen a few leaks over time. And these leaks have happened with respect to the concept images of the device.
We take a look at the top 5 Nexus 8 concept images we have seen lately.
This one, as you can see, is more or less similar to what we have seen with other Nexus tablets in the past. In fact, there hasn't been many differences in terms of display ans design. And although we aren't aware of the nitty-gritty of the display, we can't tell much difference in the display form and factor.
This one shows the back panel of the device. As you can see, apart from being a 64bit device, the back panel shows the camera for the device. And while we haven't got a single clue as to what kind of sensor we might get to see, but rumors point toward an 8MP sensor.
This one points at the Boom Sound capability that the new Nexus could be arriving with. What this means is that you can expect great sound output on release.
This concept points at a more elongated design for the tablet. This one imagines an 8.2 inch tablet with a 2K 3D display and 32/64 GB storage. A 3.2 GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 900 CPU and 3 GB of RAM could also be on offer.
