In a blog post on Facebook yesterday, Samsung Gulf, a branch of the giant that is operating in the Persian Gulf, clearly stated that the Galaxy Note II won't be receiving any Lollipop update whatsoever. The statement was in response to a question by a user.

Samsung Galaxy Note II users can alternatively enjoy the Lollipop build on their handsets through unofficial custom ROMs such as CyanogenMod 12.1 but, that requires rooting and a few tricky steps to upload the OS.
