Samsung Galaxy Tab4 8.0
The Samsung Galaxy Tab4 8.0 is the direct competition to Apple's iPad Mini. It comes with an 8.0-inch WXGA display offering the same resolution as the 10.1 inch model. Processor clock also remains the same at 1.2 GHz and it is a quad-core CPU. It uses a same 1.5GB RAM and same Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. Camera aspect also is similar with 3MP Fixed Focus rear camera and 1.3MP front-facing shooter. Connectivity options include 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS and GLONASS. Samsung Galaxy Tab4 7.0
This is the smallest of the three with 7.0-inch (1280 x 800 pixel) WXGA display. It is also powered by the same 1.2 GHz quad-core Processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. There is a 3MP Fixed Focus rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper for video calling and taking selfie. Connectivity options are also similar with 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS and GLONASS. The device comes in two variants depending on the internal storage capacity. Thus you get to choose from the 8GB and 16GB model. However you get a microSD card slot which will allow you to expand the memory up to 32GB in 3G or WiFi variant and up to 64GB in an LTE model. This one measures 9 mm thick and weighs 276g. The company has not provided the battery capacity of the particular model.
All these devices come with pre-loaded apps like Group Play, Samsung Link and Samsung WatchON. Moreover, these devices also feature the company's signature power button and capacitive touch buttons and also have leather-like back. Samsung is also yet to disclose the processor type used in the tablets.
All these devices are pretty much similar to each other in terms of specs and few major differences are that all these three come with a different display size but with same resolution. The other difference is the battery capacity, which is obviously an understandable move. Other than that everything remains same in all the three device.
