Samsung SM-T800 Tablet Specs Leak Reveals 10.5-Inch AMOLED Display and More
It looks like Samsung has got a slippery hands regarding its products this year because off late most of them have been slipping off from its stable frequently. From the Galaxy F to the Galaxy S5 zoom and the 7 inch unannounced tablet with AMOLED display, have already hit the online world in the form of leaks and rumors. Now a new 10.5-inch tablet with AMOLED display has appeared online and the talks about it have already starting circulating in the webosphere.
The new tablet device called by the model name SM-T800 in fact comes courtesy of the Samsung-bound tech site SamMobile. And adding much to our excitement the site has also listed down the specs of the upcoming tablet.
However, this one is a WiFi variant of the SM-T800 tablet and according to the site, it features a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED screen offering a resolution of 2560x1600pixels. The tablet will be powered by Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor which off late the company has been voraciously using in its latest tablet devices. It will be complimented by a 2GB RAM.
The alleged tablet will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box. In the imaging segment, there will be a presence of an 8-megapixel rear camera which is amazing to see in a tablet device. Additionally you will also get a front facing 2-megapixel shooter.
The SM-T800 will come in three variants depending on the native storage seated at 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. You will also get a microSD card slot in the device in case you are worried about memory expansion. It is said to come powered by a massive 7900mAh battery and also Samsung's latest Ultra Power Saving mode is expected to feature in this one.
If you observe the trend that Samsung is following off late, it would be logical to expect the device in two variants viz. Snapdragon variant for the LTE markets and Exynos (Octa-Core) variant for other markets like India.
There is no word about the pricing of the device as of now and to talk about the availability of the device, it is pretty hard to guess right at the moment. Thus, you will have to wait for more leaks to appear.
