Bringing a new form factor to the design of VAIO notebooks, Japan based tech giant Sony today introduced the new VAIO Flip F13N, F14N and F15N notebooks in the Indian market. The new VAIO Flip aims to suit the computing needs of everyone and is available in 13-inch, 14-inch and 15-inch sizes.
The VAIO Flip F15N17 comes at the cost of Rs. 1,19,990; Flip F15N12 will cost you Rs. 1,04,990 and the remaining Flip F14N16 and Flip F13N1A are priced at Rs. 94,990 and Rs. 99,990 respectively. They will be available starting January 29th across select Sony Centers across India.

According to Sony, the VAIO Flip's design is based on the essence of ‘sharing with others'. As the name suggests, it is capable of flipping and converting between laptop, tablet and viewer modes by flipping the display over the hinge. The laptop mode accommodates highly productive work, the same way as conventional notebook PCs. In tablet mode, it is best utilized for touch, browsing the web, taking pictures etc.
Lastly, with the viewer mode, the display can be flipped over so that you can share the experience of watching a video or movie with another person or give instant presentation anytime, without worrying for connecting a projector. Its chassis is constructed with brushed aluminum hairline finish.
The laptop comes with a VAIO Paper which is a digital notebook and handwriting app that replicates the feeling of natural writing with pen and paper. Thus using it, you can write on your VAIO Flip PC with your finger or the optional Active Pen to add images and sound that enhance your creative writing and express yourself in ways that you can't with just pen and paper. It's easy to use, organize and share your creation via email and other apps.

The touchscreen notebooks come with Opti-contrast panel, large touch pad and bigger palm rest to give users a comfortable typing experience, as well as a backlit keyboard which allows for work in low-light conditions. The line up of new Flip notebooks come with a Triluminos Display for mobile also features Sony's BRAVIA expertise and all the three notebooks sport a full HD resolution. The VAIO Flip F13N weighs just 1.31 Kg, the Flip F13N's battery is made for your long traveling hours and lasts up to 7.5 Hrs. F14N and F15N battery lasts for 6 hours and 5 hours respectively.

The latest VAIO Flip convertible laptop/tablet has a dedicated USB port inside charging adapter for quick smartphone charging. This provides instant charging without blocking USB ports on laptop. With VAIO's unique sleep and charge technology, you can charge your smartphone, even when the notebook is shutdown.
Camera
Sony uses its digital imaging expertise the Exmor RS for PC imaging sensor in the VAIO Flip series which makes it possible to take high-resolution images of documents. The back-illuminated CMOS sensor also ensures that there is reduced noise in low-light situations. VAIO Flip F13N has 8mp rear camera which helps you to capture images instantly.
