Spice Slatepad: 3G Voice Calling Tablet Now Available Online At Rs 8499
Spice Stellar Slatepad Mi-725 which was unveiled by the company this week has been spotted on online retailer site Saholic, for Rs. 8,499. The tablet which runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, comes with 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixels capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz processor, 3.2MP auto focus rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory, connectivity features including 3G , WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 & GPS and Li-Po 3000 mAh battery.
Pay slightly more then a 1000 bucks and you get a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, which definitely has much better specs but of course no calling feature. So it all comes down to saving that extra cash and preference of a voice calling tablet, but the question is," is it worth it?"
As compared, Galaxy Tab 2 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, has a 7 inch PLS capacitive display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 1GHz dual core processor, 3MP rear camera, 0.3MP VGA front camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB internal memory, micro SD card for expandable memory up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetoooth, micro USB 2.0, GPS and a 4,000 mAh Li-ion battery. The tablet has been spotted on Flipkart with the price tag Rs. 9,999.
