Zync Launches Z-18 7 inch 2G Calling Tablet at Rs 6,009
Zync Global, one of the tablet manufacturers in India, today announced its new 2G calling Z-18 7-inch tablet at a price of Rs. 6,009. The company is offering the tablet in three color variants viz. red, white and black. The company has tied up with Homeshop 18 for the launch of this tablet. Zync and Homeshop 18 are partners since two and a half years where they are selling many other tablets and range of projectors.
The Z-18 2G calling tablet will be available from tomorrow on Homeshop 18 TV. The new dual-core tablet is also available for sale in India and will be available for purchase on various e-commerce websites such as Snapdeal.com, HomeShop18.com, naaptol.com, shopclues.com etc.
Talking about the specs, the Z-18 2G tablet comes with a 7-Inch tablet offering a resolution of 800x480pixels. It is powered by a 1.5GHz All Winner A23 Dual Core processor and Mali-400MP2 coupled with 512MB. It runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2 OS.
The internal memory of the device is 4 GB, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. The tablet comes with a 2MP Pure View camera and 0.3MP Secondary Camera. Connectivity options include: Bluetooth, 2G, Micro USB and a SIM card slot. It is powered by a 2500mAh battery.
Speaking on the occasion Abhinav Agarwal, CTO, Zync Global said "Seeing the success of the Z -99 2G tablet, Zync has come up with Z-18 2G calling tablet in the same range as we believe there is tremendous scope for this tablet to become successful in the Indian market. Zync is targeting the smaller cities as we feel there is a lot of demand for 2G devices owing to the poor Internet connectivity in tier II and tier III cites. Zync is launching Z-18 2G calling tablet targeting the high-end affordable tablet market in the country which is growing by leaps and bounds. The 7inch tablet is packed with good set of features and is being offered to the consumer at a very affordable price."
With the launch of Z-18, Zync has strengthened its range in budget segment giving a tough competition for other tablet makers like Micromax, Karbonn, Lava and Swipe etc.
