Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 Leaked: Here Is How It Compete With Apple's Next iPad

The South Korean handset maker, Samsung is gearing up to launch the 2016 lineup of Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Tab E tablets. Both tablets are said to be low-end lineup running Android and to have a 7-inch display.

Allegedly press renders of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 and Galaxy Tab E have been leaked on Twitter by @evleaks, along with additional details on their specs.

As mentioned earlier, both tablets come with 7-inch displays and to be powered by quad-core processor under-the-hood paired with 1.5GB of RAM and expected to have 8GB of onboard storage. Well, there is also a talk about the Samsung's competitor - Apple might show off its next generation iPad at the upcoming event this month.

Both Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab E is said to come with 7-inch display. However, there is no much details about the screen resolution of both tablets.

Both devices are expected to be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1.5GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It is expected to have an 8GB of internal memory.

There is also talk about the camera, both tablets to pack with 5-megapixel camera on the back without LED flash. On the front, both tablets will have a modest 2-megapixel camera for selfie and video calling.

According to SamMobile, Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy Tab A by late March or early April.
