Seems like Samsung is prepping to take on its arch rival Apple, which is likely to unveil new generation iPad at an upcoming event on March 21. The South Korean tech giant has discreetly launched the Galaxy Tab A (2016), a few days ahead of the possible announcement of new gen iPad. The tablet has been listed on the company's official website, which reveals its specs, but doesn't give the price.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is essentially a new, smaller version of the company's last year's Galaxy Tab A line, which was launched in an 8-inch and a 9.7-inch model. It is a 7-inch variant tablet that was leaked before the recently concluded MWC 2016. It comes with mellowed down features and specifications, and is targeted at the mid-range segment of consumers.
