LG launches K7i smartphone with mosquito away feature
The LG K7i boasts sound wave technology, that uses sound waves only and assures that it does not emit any harmful radiation. It also covers a radius of about one meter.
Korean tech giant LG has announced the launch of its new smartphone the K7i for the Indian market at Rs. 7,990 which is also capable of keeping mosquito away from you.

"As a responsible brand, we would like to introduce products based on Indian consumer insights; the launch of K7i is an extension of this philosophy. Earlier we have launched mosquito away AC and TV, the response for this technology has been positive," said Kim Ki Wan, Managing Director, LG Electronics India.
In terms of specifications, the new smartphones sport 5-inch On-Cell display and are powered by a quad-core processor. It also offers 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage and the device is backed by a 2500mAh battery which is removable.
On the camera front, the new smartphone comes with 8 MP camera and a 5MP front shooter. In terms of connectivity, it offers WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, FM Radio and micro USB port. The smartphone also supports LTE and will only be available in a brown color variant.
Commenting on the launch, Amit Gujral, Chief Marketing Officer, LG Electronics India, said, "LG has always been at the forefront of unique innovations. With this launch, LG is bringing the mosquito away technology closer to the consumers in the form of a mobile device which can be an integral part of their daily lives."
The new smartphone was launched at the sidelines of the India Mobile Congress (IMC).
