Asus ZenPad 7.0 Tablet with 7-inch Display, Six DTS Speakers Launched for Rs 11,999

Few months back, Asus has launched an array of devices under its very own Zen series in an attempt to capture the market at the Zenfestival in India back in August.

Anyhow, the company has announced the availability of ZenPad 7.0 in the Indian market starting from today. Meanwhile, other variant dubbed as ZenPad C 7.0 along with ZenPad 8.0 will be released by the end of October, according to the company.

These tablets come with the replaceable back cover called Audio cover, which adds six speakers to the back of your tablet to give DTS-HD 5.1 Surround Sound.

Asus ZenPad 7.0 - Key Specifications

Asus ZenPad 7.0 sports a 7-inch display with the resolution of 1024×600 pixels. It is powered by a Intel Atom x3-C3200 processor along with 1GB RAM under the hood. On the storage department, this device is equipped with 32GB of in-built memory, with an expansion option of up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Moving to the camera, this slate has 2MP rear camera , VGA on the front. Additionally, this tab come packed with Android 5.0 Lollipop, and a battery which provides up to nine hours of usage.

The Asus ZenPad 7.0 comes in Obsidian Black and Aurora Metallic at a price tag of Rs. 11,999. Also, it will be available at Asus exclusive stores and on the e-retailer Flipkart starting from today.

Asus ZenPad C 7.0 - Key Specifications

ZenPad C 7.0 sports a 7 inch IPS WSVGA (1024x600) resolution display with a pixel density of just 170. It is, in fact an IPS Panel which Asus claims can render 178 wide viewing angles.

The tablet features a 64bit Quad core Intel x3-C3230 SoC coupled with a Mali GPU clocked at 450 Mhz and come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on board storage.

The optics of the tablet are handled by a 5MP rear and a 0.3MP (VGA) front cameras. The 5MP camera comes with Asus's own Pixelmaster technology and is capable of shooting 720p videos. The battery inside is 3,450mAh unit.

Asus ZenPad 8.0 - Key Specifications

Asus ZenPad 8.0 features a 8-inch QXGA screen with a resolution 2048×1536 pixels. It is powered up by Intel Atom Z3530 processor besides 2GB RAM.

Moving on to the camera, it has 5MP of rear camera, 2MP front camera on board. Meanwhile, the storage of the device is equipped with 32GB of internal storage, with an expandable option up to 128GB via microSD card slot. On the software, it runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
