Chuwi Hi8 Tablet with Dual Bootable OS, Intel SoC now available at Rs 5,135
Chuwi is Chinese tablet maker who recently rose to fame thanks to their dual bootable Hi8. The Chuwi Hi8 which apparently dual boots between Windows 10 and Android KitKat 4.4 is now priced as low Rs 5,135 ($79.9) which is markedly lower than the initial launch price of Rs 8,000 ($120).
While people are seldom talking of buying a Chinese phones from the likes of Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei etc. it seldom that one hears about tablet coming from China. Surprisingly there are a few Chinese brand like Chuwi, Teclast, and Cubot who are solely concentrating on making tablets.

The Chuwi Hi8 comes with an 8 inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1020p. Under the hood of the Chuwi is a 64bit Intel Z8300 Quad Core SoC clocked at 1.84GHz each. This is complimented by an Intel HD Graphic (Gen 8) processor and 2GB of RAM. Additionally the Chuwi Hi8 comes is equipped with 32GB of onboard storage and memory card slot which supports MicroSD cards upto 64GB.
The back of the Chuwi Hi8 sports a 4000mAh battery which is rather sufficient to last through a day of usage. Apart from that there are the usual set of connectivity features including a WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. Additionally the Chuwi Hi8 comes with a Full Sized HDMI port and OTG support for using Pen drive on the move. The Hi8 tablet also uses an AAC 3D Sound Chamber to provide a top of the tier music experience. There's also two 2MP camera on the front and the rear of the tablet.

The Chuwi Hi8 tablet is available in China at just Rs 5,180 ($79.9) via Everbuying. However do note that further import taxes would be charged for importing the product to India. Nevertheless at this price point this is a great tablet to buy. However if you are too skeptical about importing the Chuwi Hi8 you can always try out the Datamini Dual Bootable 2-in-1 tablet, albeit at a higher price of Rs 9,999.
