Honor Tab 6 With Kirin 810 SoC Might Go Official Soon

Honor Tab 6 Launch Tipped Alongside Honor V30 Series

The Honor Tab is said to be launched with the Honor V30 smartphone series. This information comes from a post on Weibo by a user called Changan Digital Jun. The post doesn't reveal any specific information on the hardware and software features of the tablet. But, it is said to make use of the in-house HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset.

The tablet comes as a successor to the Honor Tab 5 which was launched with the HiSilicon Kirin 719 chipset earlier this year. And apparently, the upcoming variant packs an upgraded chipset, indicating a capable mid-range tablet in the making.

As of now, Honor has not revealed any specific details on its hardware and the launch date. But, with the intensity of leaks pouring in day-by-day, a launch is imminent. It would be interesting to see what all upgrades the Honor Tab 6 brings over its predecessor besides the processor.

Honor Tab 5 Specifications

The Honor Tab 5 offers an 8-inch LCD display with 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon 710 chipset with 1.7GHz clock speed. The tablet comes in multiple RAM and storage configurations - 3GB RAM+ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM+ 4GB storage.

For imaging, there is an 8MP camera both at the front and rear. The tablet runs on the Android Pie-based Magic UI 2.0 user interface.
