HP Pro Tablet 608 G1 with 8-inch Display, Intel Atom CPU is Now Official

Hewlett-Packard Company has announced a new tablet with Windows 10 pre-installed. Dubbed as HP Pro Tablet 608 G1, initially it will be shipped with Windows 8.1 Pro in July and will be updated to Windows 10 in August. Moreover, this tablet comes with optional keyboard case, a portable travel dock with HDMI, Ethernet and full-sized USB ports.

HP Pro Tablet 608 G1 - Key Specifications

HP Pro Tablet 608 G1 sports an 8-inch 4:3 display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

It is powered by quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor with Intel HD graphics and it comes with 2GB/4GB RAM under the hood.

On the storage front, this device comes with 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage, with an expansion option via microSD card slot.

Moving to the camera side, this tablet comes with 8MP rear camera without flash, 2MP front-facing camera and also has Dual front-facing stereo speakers, dual microphones, DTS Studio Sound and noise-cancelling software.

In terms of connectivity, this G1 tablet has 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, WiDi, Miracast, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. However, this is powered by a battery, which promises up to 8 hours of battery life.

Priced at $479 (approx Rs. 30,445), HP Pro Tablet 608 G1 tablet will be available starting from July.
