LG G Pad 8 Tablet Tipped With Massive 8,200 mAh Battery, 8MP Rear-Camera
LG recently unveiled the G8s ThinQ smartphone and is now expected to bring a tablet in the market. The company is likely to lunch the LG G Pad 8 tablet whose renders and specifications have been tipped online. The upcoming tablet is said to be a mid-range offering that will be powered by a massive 8,200 mAh battery. Details are as follows:
LG G Pad 8 Expected Specifications
The renders of the upcoming LG tablet has been tipped by 91Mobiles. A reliable source close to the publication has revealed that the LG G Pad 8 tablet will come with an 8-inch display panel. However, the resolution, aspect ratio, and pixel density are undisclosed.
The report suggests a single-lens camera setup both at the front and rear of the device; accommodating a 5MP and an 8MP sensor respectively. The 5MP selfie camera could have a standard f/2.0 aperture.
Moreover, the image shared suggests a metal-unibody design and also gives insight into the ports. The images show thick bezels surrounding the display, specifically, on the top and the chin. This is an old-design approach which the company has opted for.
However, we would have appreciated a slim-bezel design, considering the latest trend of FullView display design. The thick bezels around the display could mean the LG G Pad 8 will be launched at an affordable price tag.
The leaked image shows the USB Type-C port sandwiched between the speaker grilles at the bottom. The LG branding is also visible at the bottom of the rear panel. The biggest highlight of the LG G Pad 8 none other than the 8,200 mAh battery.
This massive battery should allow the tablet to last more than a day with a single charge. But, its performance will only be clear following thorough testing.
As of now, these are the only primary specifications and features tipped online. It remains to be seen with which software version it is launched and if there is any stylus support.
The LG G Pad 8 is said to be priced at $367 that roughly translates to Rs. 25,995. We still are waiting for LG to reveal some specific information on its upcoming tablet including the official launch date.
