Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 likely to be showcased at IFA 2018
Latest report surfaced on the web suggesting that the tech giant Samsung is not too far to release its upcoming flagship Galaxy Tab S4. Here are the details.
Its been a long time after the launch of Samsung's flagship tablet. Now the information is surfacing on the web suggesting the tech giant is not too far to release its upcoming flagship Galaxy Tab S4. The first benchmark listing was spotted two months back which has highlighted that the device may have a 10.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10.
Now, the tablet is been spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance where it has been surfaced for Android 8.0 Oreo certification. However, that's not a surprise because all the new flagship devices are expected with the latest Android version Oreo out of the box.
The Galaxy Tab S4 was spotted with the model number SM-T835. These certifications are often taken as the indication of upcoming launch. According to Sam Mobile, they have "received word that firmware development for the Wi-Fi and LTE models of the Galaxy Tab S4 has begun and the builds currently being tested carry version numbers T830XXU0ARDA and T835XXU0ARDA."
The latest benchmark listing indicates that the Galaxy Tab S4 might be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 65GB of onboard storage. It has been expected that the new tablet will arrive with an all-new design which might incorporate Samsung's Infinity Display on it. Samsung is also said to be pushing the tablet on to the bezel-less category.
There are reports which suggested that the camera selection of the tablet will be high-end, with a 12-megapixel camera sensor on the rear and on the front the tablet will house an 8-megapixel camera sensor. LTE connectivity shows there will be a sim-enabled version as well.
As far as the Galaxy Tab S4 release is concerned, there were many reports which have suggested that Samsung will unveil its next-gen tablet at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in February. But obviously, it doesn't turn out to be true.
For now, we can expect that Samsung will showcase the new tablet at the IFA 2018 trade show which is going to happen in the second half of this year. If we see the past records, the company has used the IFA stage to launch new tablets. So if Samsung does so then it won't be surprising to us.
