Sony WF-1000XM6 New Leak: Check Color Options, Expected India Price, and Launch Timeline
Sony’s next premium earbuds are starting to show up in leaks, and this time it’s not just about specs or features. The latest information suggests the WF-1000XM6 could arrive with more colour options than Sony usually offers at launch, along with hints about pricing and when the earbuds might actually debut.

It’s still early, and Sony hasn’t confirmed anything officially, but the details give a decent idea of how the company might position its next flagship TWS.
New Color Option
One of the more interesting parts of the leak comes from tipster Roland Quandt, who suggests Sony may introduce the WF-1000XM6 in a new colour called “Sandpink.” If true, this would be a small but notable change in Sony’s approach.
With the WF-1000XM5, Sony stuck to the familiar Black and Platinum Silver colours at launch, and only added a Smoky Pink version later on.
What Sandpink actually looks like is still unclear, and it’s hard to say how close it might be to the earlier Smoky Pink finish.
Expected Launch Timeline
There’s no official date yet, but earlier reports point to a possible launch around February 12. If that timeline is accurate, Sony’s next flagship earbuds could arrive sooner than many expected.
Sony tends to refresh its premium audio lineup regularly, so a February launch wouldn’t be out of character. Still, until the company makes an announcement, the date should be taken as a strong hint rather than a confirmation.
Expected Price
The WF-1000XM6 is expected to sit squarely in the premium segment. Leaks suggest a price of $329.99 in the US and €299.99 in Europe.
On direct conversion, that works out to roughly ₹30,000–₹33,000, but the actual price in India could be different once taxes and regional pricing come into play.
Sony hasn’t shared any official numbers yet, so these figures are best seen as early indicators of where the earbuds might land.
