    The massively awaited Indian Premier League is back once again in full force and has already become one of the most talked about occassions in the country.     In case you haven't been following up on the competition, this is the seventh season of the IPL. The Mumbai Indians are the defending champions, having won the 2013 season after defeating Chennai Super Kings in the final.

    There are eight teams this season, one fewer than 2013 after the withdrawal of the Pune Warriors India. The tournament will be jointly hosted by India and the United Arab Emirates.

    The opening 20 matches will be held in the UAE at three different stadiums in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah with the tournament returning to India on 2 May.
