Airtel Prepaid Plans With Unlimited 4G and 5G Data: Check Price, Validity, and Benefits
Airtel has made a low-key update to two of its commonly used prepaid plans. The ₹399 and ₹449 recharges aren’t new, but the data benefits attached to them have been expanded.

Both plans now offer unlimited 4G and 5G data, making them more relevant for users who rely heavily on mobile internet. The update is already live and applies across India.
What Airtel’s “Unlimited” Data Actually Means
While Airtel is calling the benefit unlimited, it comes with a commercial fair usage cap of 300GB. That data allowance can be consumed over a 30-day window, even though the official validity of both plans is 28 days.
For most users, that limit is unlikely to be restrictive. Streaming, large downloads, hotspot use, and regular 5G consumption should comfortably fit within that range.
At the moment, only the ₹399 and ₹449 prepaid plans include this expanded data benefit.
₹399 Plan: Focused on Core Usage
The ₹399 prepaid plan now includes unlimited 4G and 5G data under the 300GB fair usage policy. It comes with a validity of 28 days.
Along with data, users get unlimited voice calls across networks and 100 SMS per day.
Airtel has also bundled a few add-ons. Subscribers get one year of Adobe Express Premium access. The plan includes access to Airtel Xstream Play, which brings together content from multiple OTT services, along with free Hello Tunes.
₹449 Plan: More Bundled Subscriptions
The ₹449 prepaid plan carries the same core telecom benefits. Users get unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited 4G and 5G data with the same 300GB fair usage cap, all for 28 days.
Where this plan differs is in its digital extras. Airtel is bundling a Google One subscription with 30GB of cloud storage. There’s also mobile access to JioHotstar for the plan’s duration, plus SonyLIV and access to over 20 apps via Airtel Xstream Play.
Music listeners also get six months of Apple Music, along with free Hello Tunes.
Who Should Consider These Plans
These updated plans make the most sense for users who regularly hit data limits on standard prepaid recharges. If you’re on 5G for most of the day, stream video often, or use your phone as a backup internet connection, the higher data ceiling could be useful.
