BSNL Introduces Affordable ₹1,812 Annual Plan for Senior Citizens With Free BiTV Access—Here’s What’s Included

BSNL is rolling out something meaningful this festive season. The state-run telecom operator has introduced a new Samman Plan designed exclusively for senior citizens aged 60 and above. Priced at ₹1,812, this plan provides an entire year of connectivity — complete with 2GB of daily data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. It’s available for a limited time, valid until November 18, 2025.

What the Samman Plan Offers

The Samman Plan gives senior citizens access to essential mobile services without worrying about monthly recharges. It includes:

• 2GB daily data for browsing, social media, and video calls.
• Unlimited voice calls across networks.
• 100 SMS per day.
• A free SIM card for new users.

In addition, subscribers aged 60 and above will get a six-month BiTV subscription at no extra cost, letting them stream shows and movies straight from their phones.

BSNL’s Diwali Bonanza

The Samman Plan isn’t BSNL’s only festive move. The company has also launched a Diwali Bonanza offer — including a ₹1 4G plan for new users. That plan offers 2GB of data per day, 100 SMS per day, and free SIM activation with KYC verification. It’s valid for 30 days and gives new customers a taste of BSNL’s upgraded 4G network. The offer runs until November 15.

BSNL is also giving a 5% festive benefit on its ₹485 and ₹1,999 prepaid plans if you recharge through the Self-Care app or official website. Here’s how it breaks down:

• 2.5% instant discount on your recharge.
• Another 2.5% of the recharge value donated to social service initiatives.

If you gift a recharge to someone else, the recipient will also receive an extra 2.5% discount.
