BSNL Brings Back Its ₹1 Offer With Free SIM, Unlimited Calls, and 2GB Daily Data: How to Claim

BSNL has brought back one of its most talked-about offers. The state-run telecom operator has reintroduced its ₹1 SIM plan after receiving strong demand from customers, especially those looking for an affordable secondary number or a low-risk way to try BSNL’s network.

The announcement was shared through BSNL’s official handle on X, and the company has made it clear this isn’t a permanent comeback. The ₹1 plan is available only for a limited period, and interested users will need to act before the deadline.

What the ₹1 BSNL Plan Actually Offers

For ₹1, BSNL is bundling what looks like a full regular prepaid plan, at least for the first month. Once the SIM is activated, users get unlimited voice calls to any network across India. On top of that, the plan includes 100 SMS per day.

Data is also part of the package. BSNL is offering 2GB of high-speed data per day, which should be enough for basic browsing, messaging apps, and light video usage. The plan comes with a 30-day validity, starting from the day the SIM is activated.

How to Get the BSNL ₹1 SIM

Claiming the offer is straightforward, but there’s no online option. To get the ₹1 plan, you’ll need to visit a BSNL Customer Service Centre or an authorised BSNL retailer in person.

After completing the standard KYC process, the SIM is issued and activated with the ₹1 plan. Once activation is complete, calls, data, and SMS benefits start working immediately.

BSNL has confirmed that this offer is not available through online channels, so a physical store visit is mandatory.

Important Deadline You Shouldn’t Miss

The ₹1 SIM offer is only available until January 31, 2026. BSNL has said this is a limited-time deal, and once the window closes, the plan won’t be available.

The 30-day validity begins only after the SIM is activated, not on the day of purchase. Still, if you’re interested, waiting too long could mean missing out entirely.
