Getting a broadband connection earlier meant waiting several days, sometimes even weeks, for site visits and installation. At its 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM), Jio introduced a new Digital Twin network system—a virtual 3D map designed to speed up the process.

With this, engineers can remotely assess local conditions and activate broadband connections in less than 24 hours. This means customers will now be able to enjoy gigabit home broadband within a single day.

Jio AI Cloud Gets New Features

Jio AI Cloud also gets new features. Users can now search for old photos and videos through voice commands in their native language. The cloud automatically categorizes documents as well - for example, a scanned receipt or bill is instantly filed under "Bills."

On top of that, the newly introduced AI Create Hub helps users turn simple photos into creative content like reels, collages, or short videos within seconds.

JioPC

You can now turn any screen into a smart, AI-ready computer with JioPC. There's no upfront cost or need for additional hardware - you can connect a keyboard to your Jio Set Top Box and access JioPC instantly. The company adds that the service works directly from Jio's cloud and is always secure and up to date.

JioFrames

JioFrames, the hands-free AI-powered smart glasses, were announced at the 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM). It's designed specifically for India and comes equipped with built-in open-ear speakers and support for multiple Indian languages.

The gadget will allow you to browse in real time and capture high-definition photos, record videos, and stream live content, all of which can be stored instantly in the Jio AI Cloud. JioFrames promises to make everyday tasks smarter and more intuitive.

JioHotstar Gets New Features Including Riya Voice Assistant

JioHotstar is set to get four major innovations—Riya Voice Assistant, VoicePrint, JioLenZ, and MaxView 3.0. The most notable upgrade is Riya, a new voice-enabled search assistant that goes beyond traditional keyword searches, allowing users to ask questions in natural language.

Another key addition is VoicePrint, an AI-powered translation tool designed to deliver real-time translations for live sports and entertainment content in foreign languages. Moreover, the JioLenZ lets you adjust and customise how the content appears on the stream.

5G SmartLane

Jio's True 5G network is getting smarter with the introduction of a dedicated high-speed lane for every app. Whether it's streaming, gaming, or video calls, users can now enjoy a seamless and uninterrupted experience, according to the telco.
