First, tele-verification has to be done
This is the first step. You need to make sure your SIM is tele-verified. If not, dial 1800-8901-977 from an alternate number and select the language. Enter your Jio number and check the status. Only after tele-verification, you will get the signal bars on your phone.
Restart your phone
This is the most common solution to the no network signal bars issue. You need to try restarting your device with the Jio SIM inserted in the SIM card slot. It will work pretty well and you see the signal bars appearing on the phone in most cases.
Insert the Jio SIM in the right slot
This is a common mistake that the users do. If you are using a dual SIM phone, you need to insert the Jio 4G SIM in the first slot or the one that is LTE enabled. This will resolve the issue instantly.
Check the network settings
If you are using an Android device, you need to make a small change in the network settings. It will fix the problem in no time. First, enter the code *#*#4636#*#*. This will take you to Phone Info and you need to tap on the option 'Run Ping Test'. The radio option should be turned on and you will have reboot the device. This way, you will know if your network is back or not.
You can also check the network manually by going to Settings → More Networks → Mobile Networks. There, check if the network mode of the SIM is WCDMA that is for both 3G and 4G. You can also manually search for the Preferred Network from the settings.
iPhone users follow this trick
You need to go to Settings → Cellular Option. Make sure the cellular data is turned on. If the signal bars don't appear, restore the network settings. Check if you are on the LTE network from the settings and turn on JioSecurity Service from the Accessibility option in settings.
