Reliance Jio DTH Service Might Be Launched on December 15: Here's All We Know Right Now
Brace yourself for another disruption by Reliance Jio, this time around its DTH services.
Undoubtedly, Reliance Jio created ripples in the telecom space in the country with its free Jio SIM and the bundled Welcome Offer that is available until December 31, 2016.
It appears like Reliance Jio is not going to stop with the launch of the 4G SIM since it's speculated to introduce DTH service, GigaFiber broadband service, and a few others. The Reliance Jio DTH is one of the highly anticipated services to be launched by the service provider as it is considered to be the cheapest one available in India yet.

Earlier, it was speculated that the Reliance Jio DTH service will be launched by the end of this year and interested users have to take the connection before this time frame. However, there wasn't any clear information on when exactly this service will be launched, but not anymore.

According to the people who are familiar with the matter, the Jio DTH services will be launched on December 15, 2016. Here's how they are going to be priced.
Now that the launch date is revealed, the next most important thing that has to be known is the pricing. Given the telco's history, one can expect the service to be priced way lower than what other DTH providers in the country charge. Roughly, the services are speculated to start from as low as Rs. 185 per month. Yes, you heard it right, Rs. 185 a month for the same list of channels other DTH providers offer for a price which is double, if not more, comparatively. Currently, the list of channels that'll be included in the South Indian Channel combo is under the wraps. However, as far as pricing is concerned, users will be able to subscribe to this plan for just Rs. 195 per month.
