Reliance Jio has created a lot of buzz in the Indian telecom sector and the new entrant isn’t done. However, in this short time itself, there are several bad things noticed about the new service.

Reliance Jio has been a sensation in the country. The new entrant is breaking all the records and recently Jio is the first telecom network to cross 26 million users in a short period.

The major attraction for the company is the free unlimited welcome offer in which users can enjoy free data, voice calls, and SMS till December 31. Several users over the country have faced many issues with the service and recently TRAI rated the service as the slowest 4G network of the country.

Here are some of the good and bad things about the telecom service.

India’s First LTE-Only Network- GOOD

As we all know that Reliance Jio is the country's first LTE-only network and it offers faster data speeds. Users of Reliance Jio need not worry about the fact of their network signal dropping it to 3G or 2G.

Free Voice Calls- GOOD

Another great initiative was taken by Mukesh Ambani. Reliance Jio offers lifetime free voice calls and that is not being supported other telecom operators in the country

Uber Cheap Tariff Plans- GOOD

Mukesh Ambani, at their Annual General Meeting on September announced the tariff plans to general public and the pricing of the plans was insane. The tariff plans start at Rs. 149 and go all the way up to Rs. 4,999.

Calls Only Connect via VoLTE phones- BAD

One of the major disadvantages of the service is that users won't be able to make or receive calls via a non-VoLTE phone, which is a bit of a letdown. However, the company is providing a temporary solution for this issue by branding their own app called ‘Jio4GVoice'.

Jio 4G SIM Card if You Won’t Refill Data Pack-BAD

As said earlier, you will be only able to make or receive the voice calls through data and some users are even reporting that they are not even receiving messages if the data is turned off.

Poor Customer Support- BAD

Just try to call Reliance Jio's customer support number and you have to wait for at least 30 minutes and after that, the call will be disconnected. Also, some of the Reliance Digital stores doesn't even bother about customers.
